If you were still hoping to buy tickets to see Didier Drogba make his Major League Soccer debut with the Impact, you’re out of luck.
The Impact announced on Wednesday that Saturday’s game against the Philadelphia Union at Saputo Stadium (8 p.m., TVA Sports, TSN Radio-690) is sold out. A crowd of 20,801 will watch the Ivory Coast international and former English Premier League star with Chelsea make his debut with Montreal while wearing his familiar No. 11. It will be the first sellout at Saputo Stadium since August 2013.
